SAKON NAKHON ⛪ CHRISTMAS DAY 🎅 STAR PARADE 🌟 STREET FESTIVAL 🎉 ISSAN THAILAND #christmasfestival TV

Sakon Nakhon is purported to have the largest Christian community in Thailand and its annual Christmas Day Parade, is also reportedly one of the region's biggest festivals.

Our night started out slowly, with a few warm-up ales at a couple of mom n pop shops, while we waited for the street parade to kick off.

Once the parade proper started, well, I was in awe of the effort put in the floats, most notably, the nativity scenes that anchored them.

I was equally impressed by the marching bands, as well as the involvement of local businesses in the festival.

And we finished our night, as we had started, with a few beers with some of the friendly locals, too.
