I’d like to make one essential and logical statement. If there is a wave, there has to be a medium for this particular wave to propagate through. Other ways there are no right conditions for such a wave to appear in the first place. Could you imagine the existence of any wave without its medium in the first place? Neither do I can imagine the existence of the electromagnetic waves without their own medium.

Neither do I can imagine the existence of the electromagnetic waves without their own medium.
Why all other waves do have theirs mediums, but electromagnetic ones do not? Why the speed of any waves strictly depends on the properties and conditions of their mediums, but electromagnetic ones have a constant speed? Why there is such an exception? I do believe there shouldn’t be any exceptions, to begin with.
