Some tips are that 
1. Make the areas where you don't want your dog to dig less appealing. You can use pet-friendly deterrent sprays or place rocks, chicken wire, or other obstacles in those areas.
2. Create a specific spot in your yard where your dog is allowed to dig. Bury toys or treats in that area to encourage digging there.
