War on Food in the West

Greg Reese covers how countries in the West are full on going to war against farmers. Protests are erupting in many EU member nations over regulations that are putting farmers out of business. The people that implement these policies are not stupid. They know that no farmers means no food. So what is their motivation? They appear to believe the there are too many people on the planet. If you need to reduce the population then reduce food production / availability...basically starve the population out of existence. He also notes how these policies appear to only be from Western nations. He describes how farmers in Russia are giving subsedies and encouraged to expand while in the West the opposite is true.
