Episode 1832: Purification of Mary - The Three Mysteries of Candlemas

Candlemas, also known as the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, is celebrated in the Catholic Church on February 2nd. It is exactly 40 days after Christmas and commemorates the presentation of Jesus at the Temple in Jerusalem and the purification of the Virgin Mary, according to the Mosaic law. The day is also associated with the blessing of candles, symbolizing Jesus as the light of the world. In some places, it is also known as the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
