The D.C. Establishment Panics Over President Trump

Hedge fund manager Scott Bessent says the market is anchoring on a victory for President Trump in November. "That would include the Trump tax cuts being re-applied because they expire in 2025, light touch deregulation, more prudent antitrust policy, and less drama overseas," Bessent told Steve Bannon. "Janet Yellen and the Biden apparatus are also anchoring on a Trump victory. They are doing everything they can to keep Donald Trump from coming back to Washington, D.C."
