Upper Peninsula Land Owners Can Now Apply For Grant Money

Private landowners in the Upper Peninsula now have an opportunity for grant money to help improve the habitat for deer.
Organizations dedicated to the protection of natural lands in the Upper Peninsula can now apply for up to $15,000 from the Department of Natural Resources.
The grant program called the UP Deer Habitat Improvement Partnership Initiative, is offering a total of $100,000 to organizations working to enhance deer habitats on private land.
Grant applications can be found on the DNR website and must be submitted by Monday, March 18th.
