FINALLY: Social Media CEO's Are Answering for Their Crimes

Mark Zuckerberg and several other CEO's of major social media platforms - Tik Tok, X / Twitter, Instagram and Discord - faced intense questioning about the policies that are (or are not) in place to protect victims from online exploitation, particularly the minors that use their platforms.

Numerous parents showed up with pictures of their own children who they had either lost or who had been permanently mentally and/or physically harmed as a result of being exposed to content that encouraged harmful behaviors, or coming into contact with people who coerced them into sharing vulnerable photos of themselves, or who had their images shared publicly and could not get them removed. The stories are endless.

As AI technology advances, and social media has become a permanent part of our existence - we NEED to hold these CEO's accountable for putting protective measures in place, and putting restrictions in place that protect the victim - not the predator.
