Buranasiri Mattayaram Temple It is a third class royal temple, ordinary type, located in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok.

King Nang Klao (King Rama III) granted Phraya Maha-Amatayathibodi (Chao Phraya Suthammamontri Ton Sakul "Buransiri" permission to construct this temple. King Rama III originally gave it the name "Wat Siri Amattayaram." Later King Mongkut (King Rama IV) changed the name to "Wat Buranasiri Mattayaram."

The Fine Arts Department registered Buranasiri Mattayaram Temple as an ancient site on October 24, 1977.

The temple is small but interesting to see. The highlight is the large chedi behind the main hall. It’s not always open but worth a look around if you are in the area. It’s near other sites in the old part of the city and can be accessed after a short walk.
