Season 2 Episode 20 - Four candidates for Central Committee in Orange County, California talk to Steve Stern about why they're running for office, and if elected, what they would do to make much-needed changes in the Republican Party in California. Linda Koelling talks about building a new vision of a united Republican Party in California in the fashion of the late President Ronald Reagan. She previously sat on a Central Committee, serving as Vice Chair, in another county from which she moved in Northern California. Having also served as a mayor and councilmember in her former city, she has some experience in campaigning. Susan Stivers explains how Central Committee is the same as Precinct Strategy in California, and she asks for canvassers to help them knock on doors in Mission Viejo and Rancho Mission Viejo. Walter Nirenberg talks about how many people in California have given up thinking they cannot make a difference under the current system, but he shares hope in encouraging them to try again. He says this team is working together to get enough seats on the Central Committeee to be able to make a difference. Michelle Morgan talks about the need to replace career politicians, that they are not what our Founding Fathers envisioned. She requests precinct walkers in her district, especially in Laguna Niguel.

Assembly District 71 covers the cities of Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, and Rancho Mission Viejo.

Assembly District 74 encompasses Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano.
