Man shot dead at Bond Hill gas station

Homicide detectives are investigating after a 36-year-old man was shot and killed at about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday at VP Fuels at Tennessee Avenue and Paddock Road in Bond Hill. Police say he was shot inside a black Lexus parked at the gas station, but they are uncertain on the events that led up to the shooting. The man's name will not be released until his next of kin have been notified. Officers have closed down the intersection and expect it to remain closed for a few hours as they investigate. They're searching for four suspects who witnesses said fled the scene eastbound on Tennessee Avenue. Two were on foot and two were in a white SUV.
