The first floor of the bar was bustling with people as Anthony's friends gathered under his summons, filling up the space with chatter and excitement. The atmosphere was lively, with blurry lights illuminating the dance floor where people swayed enthusiastically.

Angela, dressed in a stunning red gown, sat in a corner with her drink, her cheeks flushed with anticipation. Her friends surrounded her, speculating about Anthony's intentions, suggesting he might be planning to propose. They also discussed Angela's previous engagement, blaming Nora, who had returned after years abroad, for delaying its annulment.

When Nora arrived, dressed casually but captivatingly, she drew everyone's attention. Anthony, alerted to her presence, quickly made his way towards her, signaling preparations.

The loud music and commotion prevented their conversation from being overheard, but Angela took the opportunity to taunt Nora, insinuating that her past mistakes had cost her Anthony's affection. Nora, however, remained composed, though Angela's words stung.

Angela's cruel remarks about Nora's weight and past further fueled Nora's anger, but before she could react, the lights in the bar suddenly went out, and Anthony emerged on the dance floor, captivating the crowd with his performance.

Declaring his feelings for a special someone, Anthony's romantic gestures, including bursting balloons and showering roses, enraptured Angela. She felt triumphant, believing Anthony's display of affection was directed at her, not realizing his attention was solely on Nora.
