Denver, the capital of Colorado with a population exceeding 700,000, has joined the list of cities grappling with the impact of the ongoing border crisis, as more than 40,000 migrants have inundated the area.

As a sanctuary city, Denver has been facing challenges in managing its limited resources to accommodate the growing influx of migrants.

Texas has redirected thousands of migrants to sanctuary cities like Denver, shedding light on the difficulties faced by border states when cities become overwhelmed by the surge of individuals.

Faced with overcrowded shelters and overwhelmed hospitals, state authorities in Denver have implemented a limit on the duration migrants can stay in state-provided accommodations to cope with the daily influx, as reported by NBC News.

The strain on the city’s medical facilities is evident, with staff and supplies being utilized for patients unable to afford services, further exacerbating the housing crisis for the newly arrived residents, DNYUZ reported.
