An elementary school in Grand Rapids is going to the Dogs.

Forest Hills Public Schools recently announced its first-ever “PRIDE Pup,” a school support puppy, to the Ada Vista Elementary community in a special recognition ceremony on January 25th.

During the ceremony, a 10-month-old puppy named Jersey was officially introduced and welcomed with open arms and a lot of pets.

Jersey lives with one of the teachers and while at the school her work day consists of starting at 7:45am and visiting classrooms throughout the day.
