We get to have what we believe for.

We usually get what we believe for.

My name is Michael David Riggs, and over the years, I have grown to believe that we really do get what we believe for. If we believe for bad and evil in our lives, then bad and evil are on the way. If we believe for God‘s goodness and his kingdom and the shalom that he speaks over us, then that’s what is on our way.

Our belief system affects our words. What we believe will eventually make it out our mouths, and we speak either death or life, and receive the fruit of our words.

Jesus said, according to your faith be it unto you. That’s because whatever our faith is telling our heart is going to make its way out our tongue and either speak the blessing of God or curses.

What are you believing for?

I want to be a person who believes for Psalm 23… That because Yahweh Ra’ah is my shepherd, there is no lack. He is navigating my life into a place of green pastures beside still waters, where he restores my soul.

I choose to believe Jeremiah 29:11… that God has good plans for me… Good expectations… Plans that I would hope for… Plans of shalom. He does not have plans of evil for me… Those plans are from another source.

What are you believing for?

How much of the gloom in despair on news channels and reality TV are you accepting for your life?

We get to have what we believe for.

What we allow in our ears and our eyes will establish our thoughts and thus our faith, and thus our words, and thus the fruit of our lives.

We get to have what we believe for.
