Godfather And Goddaughter Sing Autism Inspired Song For Family Member
A heartwarming video has emerged of a sweet little girl joining her Godfather to sing the lyrics to an autism inspired song for their loving family member.
When Tommy Byrne started writing the song, he couldn’t finish all the lyrics, so he went to see his Goddaughter and she helped him with the words, so they finished the song together. The little girl wrote some of the lyrics in crayon, completing the song written for her brother and Tommy’s cousin Anthony who suffers from Autism.
This talented musician was struggling with the lyrics of a song he devoted to his autistic cousin so he decided to lend a helping hand from his Goddaughter. The sweet little girl agreed to help her Godfather with the words, since the song was devoted to her brother. When a special song came to Tommy one night, he knew that his Goddaughter was the perfect person to help him finish it.
He went to see his goddaughter and together they created this amazing tune for his cousin, Anthony. He may be autistic, but he is one amazing boy full of joy and laughter. That is why Tommy wanted to make sure that his cousin knew that he would always have people who support and love him by his side and decided to write him a song.
After hearing this song Anthony can stand up and be strong because he has a loving family who supports him, no matter what struggle he faces down the road!
Judging by the lyrics and given the emotional interpretation, this is indeed one sweet song for a very special boy. Anthony is lucky to have an amazing, supporting family that is always by his side. Tommy hopes that this song will inspire others with Autism and give them hope.
I encourage you all to visit Anthony's page and follow his journey as well: https://www.facebook.com/UnstoppableAnthonyStemCellJourney/
These are the lyrics to the song:
I know you get frustrated trying to tell us what you want to say.
I know it's not easy for you, but that's okay.
Remember that when you get your stem cells you're not by yourself.
We don't like it either and all we want to do is help.
We see the words in your smile.
We see the joy right in your eyes.
When something in your world goes wrong.
Remember to stand up and be strong.
Life is one big ocean waiting there for you.
Don't be afraid of those waves, just jump right through.
We all believe you can fly if you really want to.
Just remember you can do anything you want to do.
We see the words in your smile.
We see the joy right in your eyes.
When something in your world goes wrong.
Remember to stand up and be strong.
Remember to stand up and be strong.
Remember to stand up and be strong.
Remember to stand up and be strong.
