Golf cart transportation company launches Downtown, Over-the-Rhine shuttle service

A golf cart transportation company picked a great weekend to launch a new shuttle service between Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. According to a news release, local entrepreneurs Patrick and Lauren Dye ran GEST golf carts' free shuttles between The Banks and Over-the-Rhine and from JACK Casino to Music Hall this past weekend, as the streetcar was out of operation for several days. GEST is a free service paid for by corporate sponsorships, which include cart exterior signage and on-board digital opportunities. The Dyes plan to operate GEST from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday (weather-permitting), and they plan to expand to support local events and daily transportation around Opening Day in March.
