Evergrande Is Ordered to Be Liquidated by Hong Kong High Court

01/28/2024 Bloomberg TV: Justice Linda Chan at the Hong Kong High Court has ordered the liquidation of Evergrande, a company with a debt exceeding $300 billion. She has promised to officially wind up the company if no progress is made between Evergrande and its creditors. Offshore assets of Evergrande, including Evergrande New Energy Auto and Evergrande Property Services, will be considered in the liquidation process.
