Joining Hands to Preserve Historic Temples

NEW YORK CITY — In 1989, after the civil war, the US-based World Monuments Fund came to Cambodia and partnered with the Royal University of Fine Arts to develop conservation training.

Vice president of programs Jonathan S. Bell said they brought international experts and local students and began working at Preah Khan Temple, one of the largest temples at the Angkor Archaeological Park.

In an exclusive interview with Cambodianess and Thmey Thmey Digital Media, Jonathan S. Bell highlighted the projects and the work on which WMF has engaged with Cambodia.
