The Creation of Man - Genesis 1:26-2:3

By virtue of the fact that man is made in the image of God – man has value - ontologically. We have value not because of who we are as men – but simply because we are men.
And this new understanding – this new ethic – that man has value because he is made in the image of God was spread throughout the world by Christianity. By Christian men who hazarded their lives. And this Christian thought changed nations.
