DEEP SQUATS, WHEN AND HOW I DO THEM. I'm not always using strategic range of motion for muscle mass, but also using certain strategies to access parts of the body for healing and rehabilitation. Done correctly and light enough, some aggressive ranges of motion can work to heal certain areas along with adding strength to your main lifts. Deep squats are not biomechanically advantageous for me, not for muscle mass or strength training specifically, but done light enough they can help me recruit some hard to get muscles such as the vastus medialus along with realigning my patella tendon.
