Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning is a traditional spiritual blues song. My favorite version is by Blind Willie Johnson and his wife, Wille (same name), although he played slide guitar and I arranged a simpler version. The song traditionally is sung by a man and a woman interplaying off each other.
