DIY Hardening, Tempering and Annealing Watch Screws

In this video I attempt to use a $5 blow torch to harden a steel watch screw and then I try to break it. This is the beginning of my quest to become skilled at all of the heat treatment possibilities that can be used in watchmaking, including hardening, tempering, annealing and bluing steel.
