Fog is expected to persist through tonight with periods of dense fog at times. Some periods of improved visibility will be possible with any rainfall. Be sure to allow slow down and increased following distances if traveling. Another round of freezing rain and rain will impact the region today, resulting in hazardous travel for the morning and evening commutes. East of the Greens, there could be more sleet than freezing rain. The precipitation will change to a period of light snow this afternoon before tapering off this evening.
