The Melchizedek Priesthood and The Ancient of Days

Melchizedek was a type of Christ, and Jesus now remains a high priest continually after the order of Melchizedek. Just as Jesus Christ is eternal and is referred to in the Bible as the Ancient of Days, so too does the priesthood of Melchizedek remain forever with Christ Jesus enthroned as our great high priest and the mediator between God and man.
