Where Love Is God Is - is based on a short story by Leo Tolstoy. This moving production is faithful to Leo Tolstoy's classic tale of a lonely shoemaker in despair, and his expected visit from Jesus to his humble shop and home. The excellent adaptation, direction and acting all set the stage for an emotional and satisfying climax.

SYNOPSIS
Martin the Cobbler is grief stricken following the death of his son Peter. He is left without family and questioning why he should go on living. The day of visitation is not what Martin was expecting, but far more than he imagined.

CAST & CREW
Eliot Makeham as Martin the Cobbler

Directed by Donald Carter
Cinematographer A. Frank Bundy
Music by W. Hodgson

NOTES
Midway through his life Tolstoy, the 19th century Russian author of War and Peace and Anna Karenina, had a personal religious revelation after years of soul searching and studying the New Testament. This short story followed and is fashioned around Mark 9:24, "Lord, I believe. Help thou mine unbelief."
