Near Fear Scary Stories - Hooked On You

It was a late and foggy evening, and Sarah was walking through an almost empty car park on her way home from work.
As she walked, she felt as though she was being followed, but every time she turned around, there was no one there.
Suddenly, she heard a sound coming from the darkness.
It sounded like someone dragging something heavy along the ground.
She froze in fear, trying to peer through the thick fog to see where the sound was coming from.
As she stood there, she saw a shadowy figure emerge from the fog.
It was a man, his face obscured by the darkness. He was dragging something behind him, and as he got closer, Sarah saw that it was a large metal hook.
She tried to run, but her feet felt heavy and uncooperative. The man continued to approach, his eyes fixated on her.
Sarah felt a cold sweat running down her face as she realized that she was completely trapped.
Just as the man was about to reach her, a car pulled up in the car park, its headlights shining on the man's face.
He disappeared into the shadows, and Sarah was left alone once again.
Shaken but relieved, Sarah got into her car and tried to start it. But the engine wouldn't turn over.
She tried again and again, but it was no use. She was stranded in the car park, with no one else around.
As she sat there, she heard strange noises coming from the darkness. It sounded like footsteps and whispers, but she couldn't tell where they were coming from.
She tried to call for help, but her phone was dead.
Suddenly, she saw the man again, standing just outside her car window. His eyes were cold and empty, and he held the metal hook in his hand.
Sarah screamed in terror, but the man just smiled and walked away.
Finally, Sarah's car started, and she drove away as quickly as she could.
But as she looked in her rearview mirror, she saw the man following her, his eyes glinting in the darkness.
She drove faster, her heart pounding in her chest, until she was finally able to escape the car park and make it home.
From that day on, Sarah never went through that car park again, and she never forgot the terror she felt that night, the feeling of being watched and followed by something inhuman and sinister.
