Oh my Virgin Despina!
accept my tears
he heard my sighs,
see my repentance

Before You, my Virgin Mary
I stand on my knees
I have the mullet bent
I am devastated.

Who else can see,
in the depths of my heart
the flames the sleepless ones
put out my fire?

Who sees despair
and despair?
Where can I ask for mercy?
where can I find protection?

With Your golden hand,
Get me out of the mess.
Give me peace Despina,
Let this commotion stop.

In my darkness give me light
Queen Mary,
Give me comfort
