Improving SEO: Uncover Content Differences with Bard

My Favorite AI prompt to help you improve your SEO rankings. First off, this prompt works on Bard, it doesn’t work on ChatGPT. Whenever you are trying to rank on Google you’ll notice that in many cases a website may rank higher than yours even if you believe your content is better. What you need to keep in mind is Google doesn’t actually understand content quality. They fake it. As Google admitted to the DOJ, “We do not understand documents, we fake it.” So I like asking Bard to help determine what I can improve in my content to rank better. First, ask Bard this question: Can you tell me the main differences between the content on this page [insert URL of a competitor page that ranks above you] and this page [insert URL of another competitor page that ranks above you]? This prompt will tell you the differences in the content for those 2 different web pages. Make sure the URLs you select rank for the same keyword on Google. Don’t use those sites' homepage URLs, you have to use the exact URL that is ranking on Google for that particular keyword. Bard will then tell you the difference in the content and give you ideas. Then I want you to use the following prompt on Bard to get even more insights: Can you tell me the main differences between the content on this page [insert URL of a competitor page that ranks above you] and this page [insert URL of another competitor page that ranks above you] ? And then after analyzing both of those pages, can you tell me how to make the content on my page better on my web page? Here is the URL for my web page [insert URL of the page on your site that is targeting the same keyword] This will give you more insights on what you need to change to rank higher. The reason I break it down into 2 prompts versus 1 is because if you just used the 2nd prompt, Bard won’t give you enough feedback on the content quality for the URLs ranking above you on Google.
