Breaking: Epic Drone Crash Salvage - A Living With Rob Rescue Mission

Today we are headed on an Epic Drone Crash Salvage. It's our Living with Rob Recovery Mission.

While in the Arizona Golden Canyon doing some boondock camping, a few friends took me to fly the DJI Avata Drone into the Box Canyon. Well, while there, I launched the drone and flew it along a mountain ridgeline. Sadly, at the very top of the mountain, the drone was pushed down by wind and was forced into a low hanging tree.

The tree knocked the Avata out of the sky and it's self recovery turtle mode was deactivated due to it sitting at an angle on the mountain.

Self recovery was not going to work so it required a second mission to the area the next day in order that I might climb to the top of the mountain and try to find the drone.

The Avata is a very small drone so it took some hiking around on steep ledges and cliffs once on top of the mountain. Just when I was ready to give up, I asked the Lord to help me and draw me to it. Well, prayer was answered. Just at the moment I was going to call it and hike back down, I spotted the little sucker.
I slowly made my way over to it and rescued it. Happily, the drone, and it's related footage was recovered safely.
