HALO Star Says the Show is NOT for Halo Fans

Star of the Paramount Plus Halo series, Pablo Schreiber who plays the character of Master Chief John-117, says the show isn’t for people who want his character in the show to more closely follow the character from the games and books.

His comments came about as a response to criticism over how he constantly removes his helmet in the series when the character he plays is known for always having his helmet on. Halo TV series showrunner Steven Kane said the decision was so they can capture the characters emotions similar to the novels, but this would be one of the few instances where the show is following the books.
