King David, The Ark of the Covenant, Serving His People, Biblical Truth, God Wins

In today's reading from the second book of Samuel chapter 6 King David comes into his city dancing in front of the ark of the covenant a pretty wild celebration celebrating love for the Lord. David sacrifices some beef and fee says people beef and bread and a Raisin cake. In other words David takes care of his people and meets their needs and leads them closer to the Lord. In doing so he's taking care of their bodies, their minds and their souls. Leaders today tell us they're elite. They aren’t public servants, they expect the public to serve them. This is exactly backwards and why they're doing such a terrible job.
We were created in the image and likeness of God which means we have soul, mind and body. Our attitude about life in our surroundings and the ones we love are good indication of how well our mind is working. Our prayer life fortifies and nourishes our souls.
