Chacala Beach, Mexico – Straight out of a Jimmy Buffet Album

They’re freezing up in Buffalo stuck in their cars, and I’m lyin’ here ‘neath the sun and the stars. A family-oriented beach with a sandy bottom perfect for swimming and body surfing. Times are changing though. A new highway and plans for a deep-water port close by will change this tiny beach town forever. But for now, it’s that “one particular harbor” that we still love.
