Fort East Martello 1862 Key West Florida 1/22/24

Fort East Martello in 1862, the United States was embroiled in the Civil War and tensions fared as the Union controlled the island during the war, Key West’s residents were mostly pro-Confederate and there was much animosity between the sides. Think of the tensions among slaves, free blacks, pro-Confederate residents, and the U.S. Army on the Union side, all of these groups were involved in the construction the forts. Actually, I believe it is another example of how unified we are as Americans, ultimately all the forts were built and served the purposes intended. May we stand united today as we ARE BEIJING ATTACKED BY THE CHINESE COMMUNIST'S as they effectively and nefariously work with US traitors from within. This is the REAL battle today and YES, we are being destroyed, God help us to EXPOSE it and have a restoration of the ideals of "In order to form a more perfect Union".
