Boy sets off airport alarms with bag of toy guns

A young boy went to see his grandparents off at Bursa airport in Türkiye, and, without anyone thinking, brought a bag full of toy guns with him. It was only when he sent his bag through the x-ray scanner that his relatives probably realized he’d made a mistake. As the x-ray technicians sounded the alarm that 6-year-old Selim Köse was packing heat, airport security rushed in to surround and, if necessary, eliminate the boy. A tense standoff with the 6-year-old ensued.

Now, in certain countries in the world, such a situation would result in many, many deaths, but thankfully the Turkish security officers saw the funny side and even sat down to play with the boy, before sending his relatives off on their journey without further incident.
