D. W. Griffith was born a 149 years ago, on Jan. 22, 1875. He was a pioneer film director, best known for the movie, The Birth of The Nation (1915). This is the movie that glorified the Democrats KKK organization. A voice recording of D. W. Griffith is very rare. This broadcast of course has him. Enjoy this historical show, broadcasted on Oct. 1, 1936.
