EU's Borrell: Israeli plan to destroy Hamas not working

Israel's plan to destroy Islamist Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza is not working and the humanitarian situation in the enclave could "not be worse", the EU's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Monday (January 22), adding that the European Union must pursue efforts to create a "two-state solution" despite Israeli opposition.
