What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
What can a man give in exchange for his soul? NOTHING!!
Life on earth is short, and eternity is a long time to be wrong.
At the end of your life it won't matter how much success you achieved, or how much pleasure you enjoyed. All that will matter is what you did with the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you accept him as your Lord and Saviour, or did you reject Him, for the fleeting pleasures of this world.
This will determine whether you spend eternity with God in heaven, or an eternity separated from God, in hell.
Live as if your soul depends upon it, because your soul does depend upon it.
