Recipe for Canning Vanilla Bourbon Pears
15 to 20 Pears (firm but ripe)
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract or 1/2 vanilla bean
2 - 3 Tbsp of Bourbon per jar
1 - 2 Tbsp of Lemon Juice Bottled
6 - 8 Cups Water
Makes 4 Quarts
