EMBARK ON AN AWE-INSPIRING ALPINE ⛺️ ADVENTURE! Join me, and my blue-eyed 🐕, Ollie, on a ultra scenic backpacking 🎒 adventure into the soul-stirring wilderness. What began as a planned 14-day 🎣 catch n' cook 🍳 fish fun escapade evolved into an extreme 16 day journey that saw us explore remote lakes, cascading waterfalls and majestic mountains with spectacular views. The crazy high mountain odyssey included amazing fishing, survival challenges and catching many a meal with no resupply.

THE JOURNEY UNFOLDS
Our fishing and climbing adventures unfolded with glorious lakes, mountain passes and river crossings. Most sunrises brought the promise of catching and cooking chunky trout on a pristine lake. Ollie, my steadfast Australian Shepherd, was not just a companion but an integral part of this expedition, making every moment more special. 🐾

CINEMATIC BEAUTY IN 4K 🎥
Filmed in stunning 4K, the lofty scenery unfurled like a masterpiece, capturing the essence of my fisherman's life. The high definition photography added depth to our journey, accentuating the rugged beauty of the mountains and their vibrant colors. Six time lapses punctuated our trip, offering a unique perspective of the changing landscapes and the dance of light and shadow.

SURVIVAL CHALLENGES
With only 14 days of provisions our survival depended on catching and eating trout. The weight of our backpacks was an additional challenge, laden with the extra burden of food necessary for our extended stay in the woods.

CAMP TALES
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on our lakeside campsites, we enjoyed sparkling creeks, breath-taking mountains, and beautiful surroundings. The forest echoed with tales of the day's triumphs, and the aroma of perfectly "cooked" wild trout filled the air.

UNEXPECTED TWISTS
Our journey alone extended beyond the planned, venturing so far into the backcountry that it took us added days to hike out. The unexpected twists only added to the richness of this experience, turning our solo excursion into a saga of resilience and exploration.
