Here's a short yet important breakdown of how the Nestlé company has come to own profitable water brands by pumping millions of gallons of water from the ground. Is it a surprise, then, that its CEO does not consider water a human right?

While lead contamination and Legionella bacteria affected thousands of mostly Black people in the US state of Michigan, Nestlé has been pumping the state's water as part of what has been dubbed 'The Great Water Grab.'
