Hi, my name is John, and I am the inventor of these Roomba charging contacts. I designed these so that virtually anyone in about fifteen minutes could install them. They protect the original contacts as well as restore the connectivity of worn contacts on a Roomba.

Charging issues are among the most common errors and problems with owning a Roomba. One of the main culprits is the metal charging plates on the Roomba.

Roomba charging contact replacement is not an easy process. These replaceable nickel covers make the job easy to accomplish as they take only a few minutes to install.

If the metal contacts on your vacuum are not working due to scratches and wear, these preformed caps will solve this issue. These covers are put on top of the original damaged contacts of your Roomba.

These pure nickel caps are proactive as well as reactive repairs. They will restore connectivity when the connections of the original contacts are poor. And they will protect the Roomba's original contacts from ever needing to be changed.

These preformed and fitted conducting nickel caps can be installed on the following Roomba series/models.

500, 600, 700, 800, 900, E-series, i-series, j-series.

These replaceable covers are NOT designed to work on the( 400, 4000 models, which were made over 15 years ago.) Or the S-models like the S9 or S9+

Does your Roomba repeatedly try to make a connection with its dock and often fail? Perhaps sliding back and forth on the electrical contacts multiple times. Maybe you've seen the vacuum backing up from the base to try one more time to dock. Or perhaps, on occasion, finally giving up and ending its job some distance from the dock.

Why is this?

Over time, the Roomba's shiny electrical contact veneer wears down and gets scratched. These fine and deep scratches fill up with acids, alkalines, dirt and oils from everyday living. These imperfections in the metal get increasingly pronounced, and you end up with repeated charging errors. Finally, wear spots appear on the faces of the charging contacts and poor connectivity results.

Do you want your Roomba to work with fewer issues? Would you like to reduce your endless cleaning and polishing of the contacts so the vacuum will finally charge? Well, if so, please read ahead …

These pure (99.8%+) nickel electrically conductive caps/covers are the low-cost solution to contact charging issues. These metal covers are put on top of the damaged charging contacts of the Roomba. I chose quality nickel foremost for being a great electrical conductor. Also, nickel is highly resistant to corrosion; its relative metal hardness means it resists wear and will last a long time.

The replaceable caps are preformed to fit over the damaged charging contacts of your Roomba. These nickel overlays are specifically designed to be held in place by the black plastic bottom cover of the vacuum.

A great fix for when your Roomba won't charge unless tilted—an easy-to-do repair kit which can solve many Roomba contact connection issues in minutes.

Remember to clean your old contacts (the ones on the Roomba) before installing the new nickel covers.

These conductive nickel covers work on the following Roomba series/models.

500, 600, 700, 800, 900, E-models, i-series, j-series.

They do NOT work on the( 400, 4000 made some 15 years or more ago) or the S-models like the S9 or S9+
