HOLD ON TO YOUR ENERGY!

In this video I discuss how most humans live their lives as reactionary beings, constantly reacting emotionally to things that are outside of their control. We discuss the detriment of this way of living, and how reacting to things outside of your control has the potential to lead to significant energetic depletion. I go on to explain the formula of Stimulus = Reaction and how this is a very flawed formula. I then present the proper formula of Stimulus = Pause & Contemplation = Reaction. By learning to pause before we react to things we can set up a gap of time between stimulus and reaction where we can act as intermediators between the two and literally redefine the outcome of the situation based on how we react. This takes significant practice but the outcomes are well worth the initial struggle. It is well worth your time to focus on things in your life that you CAN control, not things that are OUTSIDE of your control. Sadly, most of us live worrying and fretting about the things that we cannot control. Ask yourself what good is it to worry or get flustered about or over things that you absolutely cannot control. That is very wasteful, especially to your energy level and well being, as well as your inner strength. When you react in an unbalanced way, you actually lose your inner strength by default simply because you are doing the wrong thing. We should always strive to do our best. We do have the ability to control our mind, our emotions, whether or not we get angry at things, and how much energy we have. I would highly suggest researching a branch of philosophy known as stoicism, which is an excellent system that anyone can start practicing which will help he or she gain more control and happiness in their life.
