New body camera video released Friday shows police at the University of Central Florida arrest a 27-year-old man accused of pulling a gun on a bus driver.

Takuya Leon Takahashi was arrested Thursday on the main campus.

According to an arrest affidavit, Takahashi was carrying two large bags when he tried to get on a bus near Parking Garage A. The suspect was trying to get on the bus, but the driver did not let him on, police said. He then pulled out a gun, pointing it at the driver and then leaving on a bicycle, according to UCF police.

Body camera video shows an officer locating Takahashi, who is stopped on a bicycle.

“What do I do? What do I do? Should I drop on the floor?” he says to officers’ demands to get on the ground. “Please don’t shoot.”

As the officer puts handcuffs on Takahashi, he is heard saying, “I’m the one you want, I’m the one you want.”

“I’m not innocent, OK ... I’m the one you want,” he said in the video.

The officer removed a fanny pack from the suspect’s waist, which had a firearm inside, according to the affidavit.

The main campus was on lockdown during the search for Takahashi.

“No innocent people needs to be hurt because of me,” he’s heard saying in the video. “I’m not that kind of guy that hurts innocent people. The bus (driver) tried to run me over with my bike ... I’m the guy you’re looking for.”

He faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on school property.

At his first appearance in court Friday, Takahashi was appointed a public defender and a judge granted bond amounts of $5,000 for each charge. Takahashi was ordered to not return to the location and to have no contact with the victim, as well as told he cannot possess weapons.
