Excited Toddler Meets Her Twin Baby Sisters

Siblings are awesome and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Having a sibling is like having a best friend forever, someone you can count on no matter what. They are our moral supporters, our partners in crime and our scapegoat, because we always need someone to blame for our own mischievous ways.

Some of us have one sibling, but there are those who have two or more. Now that is a team! There is no stopping a group of kids that are bound by blood and equal intentions! But to witness a little kid meet its siblings for the first time, not that is truly special.

Scarlett and Shayla came home from the NICU on February 20, 2014 when they were 13 days old (the same day they were supposed to be born via scheduled c-section). Kinsey was finally able to meet them for the first time. She didn't seem surprised at all to have babies come home. She was just so excited and wanted to help take care of them from the beginning!

When mom brought Shayla in her baby carrier, big sister Kinsey was right there on the doorstep, ready to receive the tiny baby. The sister was sleeping, but that did not prevent sweet Kinsey from clapping her hands in joy. Then Scarlett was brought in an Kinsey’s joy was unending!

“Babies!” she screams, as she goes from one carrier to the other, making sure each baby has her pacifier in her mouth. Her parents are melting with love over their big girl, seeing how gentle and loving she is for the newborns. So sweet!
