Today we take a look at 10 Games That Absolutely RUINED 2023 For EVERYONE.
2023 was a historic year for gaming. Unreal Engine and its vast possibilities paved the way for a massive collection of high-quality games. From Spider-Man 2 to Baldur's Gate, almost every genre boasted a breakout title that exceeded expectations and truly lived up to the hype. But let's not ignore the fact that there were titles that were not only overhyped, but they never even came close to living up to their names.

10. Redfall - 00:35
Kicking things off at number 10 is Redfall. This game promised us a vampire-killing adventure but delivered a snooze fest instead. Static storytelling, uninspired AI, and performance issues made this a forgettable experience.

9. Unholy - 02:21
At number 9, we have Unholy. It tried to be a horror game but ended up being just horrifyingly bad. With clunky controls and a combat system that's more frustrating than fun, this game was a letdown for horror fans.

8. Wanted: Dead - 04:18
Wanted: Dead lands at number 8. Coming from the creators of Ninja Gaiden, expectations were high, but they missed the mark by a mile. Confusing storytelling, weak combat, and a problematic camera made this a game to forget.

7. Modern Warfare 3 (campaign only) - 06:05
Number 7 is Modern Warfare 3's campaign mode. Short, repetitive, and unimaginative, it felt like a chore to play through. The lack of variety and uninspired story made it one of Call of Duty's biggest misses.

6. Crime Boss: Rockay City - 08:14
At 6, there's Crime Boss: Rockay City. Despite a star-studded cast, the game fell flat with repetitive missions and poor voice acting. It was a disappointing venture into the crime genre.

5. Skull Island: Rise of Kong - 10:19
Halfway through at number 5 is Skull Island: Rise of Kong. Priced at $40, it promised much but delivered little. Repetitive gameplay, technical issues, and outdated graphics made this one a hard pass.

4. The Walking Dead: Destinies - 12:30
Number 4 brings us The Walking Dead: Destinies. A game that sounded amazing but turned out to be a disappointing mess. Poor graphics, clunky combat, and a story that failed to grip made it a miss for fans of the franchise.

3. Grey Hill Incident - 14:25
Greyhill Incident grabs the third spot. An alien survival horror game that turned out to be neither scary nor exciting. Poor stealth mechanics, laughable alien threats, and a story that made little sense put this game high on our list of disappointments.

2. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum - 16:27
Runner-up at number 2 is The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. A game with so much potential that unfortunately ended up being a letdown. From its primitive stealth mechanics to its underwhelming visuals, this game failed to capture the essence of Tolkien's world.

1. The Day Before - 18:07
And the worst game of 2023? The Day Before. This game was a train wreck from start to finish. Marketed as an ambitious MMO, it turned out to be nothing but a half-baked shooter with numerous issues. And to top it off, the studio shut down just days after its release, leaving gamers in disbelief.
