Chip the Hawksbill Sea Turtle

"Chip" the Hawksbill Sea Turtle.
On this trip to Roatan, I had to stay on the surface because of a perforated ear drum. I usually free-dive. I was challenged to find ways to still film the sea life below while hanging on to a pool noodle. To catch a sea turtle coming up for air usually means following them for 20-30 minutes. I was lucky to catch this survivor in shallow water. No idea what caused the deformation of the shell.
