Pre, Mid, or Post Tribulation?
Anytime you hear of this nomenclature being used in regards to the second coming or the so called rapture; take heed lest you be deceived. We only have one specific mention of the timing of the great tribulation found in Matthew 24:29. “Immediately after” should be clear as day as to the timing of the second coming as mentioned by Christ Himself.

The next question would be; how will we know when the “great tribulation” begins? Many simple minded theologians believe there will be a giant alarm clock in the sky that will go off saying the great tribulation has begun. The same goes for their pre, mid, or post interpretation. They are stuck in a literal world of their own choosing and are unable to translate the Bible from the pages to real life.

There will be many signs but most likely none of these simple minded theologians will be able to identify them or agree on them. There shouldn’t be any debate about Christ’s words on the subject, they are very clear. Mark 13 Matthew 24 and Luke 21 give an outline of the chronology of His return that align with the 7 seals, trumps and vials and you need not look any further. The first seal is the most important and that is why it is number one in the sequence. It looks forward to the actual event at the 666 seal trump and vial. The seals trumps and vials are witnesses to the same events. Many confuse chronology with importance and this is where they go wrong.

The first seal tells us of a rider on a white horse who will come disguised as Jesus Christ and this theme is repeated throughout Gods Word. This will be a test for every Christian who is alive at this time. Christ said “take heed lest any man deceive you”. Many who are unlearned will be deceived by this fake Jesus who is called antichrist or instead of Christ.
2 Thessalonians tells us he will stand in the Holy Place and claim to be god which is a perfect description of the rider on the white horse of Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The crown given him is a fake (Toxon) and he conquers with peace and prosperity found in Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
The entire 8th chapter of Daniel is an outline of the end times during the great tribulation. It is brought forward as a type or example and repeating the 2nd chapter of Daniel. The Little Horn is the representative of the antichrist who comes in peacefully and prosperously on a white horse just as Revelation 6 tells us. This theme is repeated by Jesus Christ as well. It will be a time of deception like never before.

Every bit of this chronology is found in Mathew 24 and it aligns with the 7 seals trumps and vials and anything outside of this dissertation by Christ is a false and misleading testimony of Christ’s second coming.

Revelation 13 is another witness to this chronology found in the number of satans name 666.
Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The wisdom to be gained from this verse is the chronology of satans appearance on the white horse as the fake Jesus or antichrist. It is written and should be plain as day to those with eyes to see and ears to hear. Again, the same theme repeated over and over.

What does it mean to count the “number of his name”? It’s so simple a 3 year old child could understand it.

It is saying to count the number in the sequence of seals, trumps and vials that Christ spoke about in Mathew 24 Mark 13 and Luke 21. Satan will appear on the white horse as the false messiah at the 666 seal, trump and vial. This sequence of events aligns with all the other testimonies of Christ true return.
Look at 2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Paul’s dissertation on the chronology of Christ’s return aligns with Mathew 24 Mark 13 and Luke 21. Verse 9 lays it out so clearly. Satan who is 666 comes before the real Christ on a white horse and Christ who is 777 seal, trump and vial comes after satan on a white horse as well. Christ will destroy him with the brightness of His second Coming at the 7th seal trump and vial.
The answer to the question of is it pre, mid, or post tribulation when Christ returns can be answered in this way; how do you define what and when the great tribulation is? The great tribulation starts when the rider on the first white horse appears who is none other than satan. His deception as the false messiah will destroy the mighty and holy people who believe he is the real messiah. He will do it with prosperity and peace before the true Messiah comes in the true second coming. Your answer is staring you right in the face. Christ appears after the great tribulation. The great tribulation is the deception of antichrist the false messiah.
