Today, missiles are being launched and received from Yemen. The United States military is attempting to stop Houthi fighters in Yemen from attacking commercial ships in the Red Sea. Greg Myre, a national security correspondent for NPR, is reporting on this topic.
Yes, the U.S. Navy reportedly destroyed four Houthi ballistic missiles that were meant to be used against commercial ships in the Red Sea during the strike that occurred before morning. According to a U.S. defense official, this is the third American strike of that kind since last week. The American official did concede, though, that the Houthis were able to launch a missile with success a few hours after the American strike, and it struck a commercial ship owned by Greece. There was not much damage to the ship.
