Episode 12: The Authority of the Church Part 6 - the Church Fathers

In this episode I continue to discuss the teaching authority of the Apostles and the Catholic Church, given by our Lord and preserved from all error by the power of the Holy Spirit. In this episode we discuss the writings of the earliest of the early Church Fathers - Pope Saint Clement of Rome, Saint Polycarp and Saint Ignatius... it may surprise some folks that these men, who were the immediate successors tot he Apostles said that we should listen to our bishops as to God. But then, that is what Jesus said.... if we are shocked, it is only because we have fallen from the original understanding of the first Christians.
